Liverpool have reportedly “discussed” the transfer of Nico Williams, with the club announcing the Reds’ fourth friendly of the summer.
Another preseason game announced
Liverpool have announced that they will play fourth friendly this summer, vs Seville at Anfield he August 11.
This comes just over a week after the last of the Reds’ three matches in the US, where they will play Real Betis, Arsenal and Man United.
The match against Sevilla will be Arne Slott’s first in front of the home crowd at Anfield and is set to kick off at 3pm (BST).
There is still a week to go until the Reds’ Premier League opener at Ipswich on Saturday 17th August at 12.30pm.
Despite a number of players likely still being on international duty, it is perhaps surprising that another friendly has not been planned for Liverpool’s pre-season.
Slott will need to make the most of his time on the training ground to ensure Liverpool don’t make a slow start to the campaign.
