After a workout with New England a few weeks back, Memphis Showboats DL Josiah Bronson is signing with the Patriots.

Josiah Bronson was an offseason addition for the Showboat this year. He made it onto the team throughout the merger process, and eventually proved to be a mainstay on the defensive line in 2024.

This season, Bronson totaled 12 tackles, two TFL’s, 1.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, and a PBU. He started in four of ten games played with Memphis.

Josiah Bronson is more proof that spring football works. He played for a couple of years in the NFL, seeing stints with the Saints, Dolphins, and Cowboys from 2021-2023. Bronson landed in the UFL for 2024, and now gets an opportunity to return to the big league. In his NFL career, Josiah has posted 12 tackles, with all of those coming in the 2021 NFL season.

Without the national platform that the UFL provided Josiah Bronson with, who knows if this opportunity would have been possible. You can stay up to date with all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
