Special Olympics snowboarder Dayna Shilts takes gold at the 2022 X Games in Aspen, Colorado

Dayna Shilts is a Special Olympics North America snowboarder who has worked with ESPN as a sports reporter at previous Special Olympics World Games, Special Olympics USA Games, and other major sporting events. Shilts was part of ESPN’s coverage at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 where she was on the ground covering both competitive and non-competitive events that aired during 220 hours of live broadcast coverage of the Games on ESPN3 and ESPN+. Following Abu Dhabi 2019, Schiltz discussed the benefits of consolidation at all levels of the sport with Russell Wolfe, executive vice president and general manager of ESPN+.
