We are excited to announce our continued partnership with Special Olympics to advance inclusivity in the Games. Since 2014, Microsoft and Special Olympics have collaborated to empower athletes through technology, creating the annual event Games for inclusion It happened. This year Xbox was proud to host a select group of Special Olympics athletes in Redmond in an amazing event including the Building Challenge with Minecraft Education and the Gaming for Inclusion Championship.

We’re committed to enabling everyone to play the games they want, with the people they want, wherever they want, in the way that works for them. We’re always looking for ways to offer more options that allow players with disabilities to customize their gaming settings. This year, Xbox is proud to highlight new products, developed in partnership with the gaming and disability community and non-profit organizations, including Xbox Adaptive JoystickFree 3D printable files For adaptable joystick caps from the Xbox Design Lab, two designers for Xbox controllers: BiowaveProteus controller and 8 bit doLite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller. These innovations provide more accessibility options to support gameplay and improve the gaming experience for everyone.
