New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shahid will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a meniscus injury, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday.

The source told Shifter that Shahid faces a recovery timeline of four to six months.

The Saints placed the martyr on injured reserve on Thursday.

Shahid leads the Saints this season with 349 receiving yards and three receptions and is third on the team with 20 receptions.

Shahid was already ruled out of Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos as was Chris Olave (concussion), leaving the Saints without their top two wide receivers for the game.

Olave is second on the team with 23 receptions and 280 receiving yards.
