Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to become a West Ham United player today.

On Saturday news broke that a £15 million deal had been agreed between the two clubs for the transfer of the right back and that personal terms had been agreed.

Wan-Bissaka was expected to head to the London Stadium for a medical yesterday, however, a last-minute hitch developed and he did not travel.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that “Wan-Bissaka remains in Manchester this evening, however, with certain issues between the player and clubs yet to be finalised.

“There is optimism at Old Trafford and the London Stadium that the switch will still happen, but Manchester United are relaxed if it does not.”

This put United’s deal for his replacement, Noussair Mazraoui, in jeopardy.

However, whatever the issues were, they seemed to be resolved late last night.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano posted “Aaron Wan-Bissaka will become West Ham player on Monday, no doubts.

“Deal will happen, same for Mazraoui to Manchester United.”

This was later corroborated by Ornstein himself, who wrote:

“Aaron Wan-Bissaka transfer from Man Utd to West Ham now fully agreed between player & both clubs after #MUFC / #WHUFC already had deal in place.

“Issues resolved + 26yo right-back to take medical Monday morning before completing £15m move:”

Meanwhile, Mazraoui and centre-back Matthijs de Ligt have been filmed leaving Munich airport to complete their moves to United.
