Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s proposed deal with West Ham United is stalling and that could lead to problems for Manchester United with regards to their pursuit of Noussair Mazraoui.
It has already been reported that the Red Devils have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for the Moroccan but it is contingent on the Englishman joining the Hammers.
West Ham had agreed a deal worth £15 million for the right-back and a medical was scheduled for Sunday but that has run into problems due to issues between Wan-Bissaka and the clubs involved as per The Athletic.
While there remains confidence that a deal can still be agreed, the 20-time English league champions are happy should the former Crystal Palace star end up staying.
AWB complications
“Work is ongoing to resolve Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s proposed transfer from Manchester United to West Ham United. The right-back, 26, was scheduled to travel to London on Sunday for a medical before completing the move.
“Wan-Bissaka remains in Manchester this evening, however, with certain issues between the player and clubs yet to be finalised.
“There is optimism at Old Trafford and the London Stadium that the switch will still happen, but Manchester United are relaxed if it does not,” David Ornstein wrote.

Sky Sports have claimed that this delay has meant that the team from London are eyeing alternatives including Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United and the Bayern full-back.
It was relayed previously that West Ham had agreed a fee with Bayern for the Morocco international only for Mazraoui to turn them down in hopes of landing up at Old Trafford instead.
Mazraoui deal in danger?
Now with the Wan-Bissaka deal in danger of collapsing, West Ham are prepared to revisit their interest. And if a move to Old Trafford fails to materialise, the Bayern star could now be more open to the possibility of playing at the London Stadium.

Wan-Bissaka missed out on a place in the United squad for the Community Shield as a result of his impending move. Facundo Pellistri had to play as an emergency right-back in the second-half, a move that backfired on the manager.
If the deal does fall through, it could mean Erik ten Hag’s plans for a versatile full-back addition could end up in flames. Keeping in mind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia’s injury troubles, a move for Mazraoui made a lot of sense though there are doubts about his own injury issues.
INEOS have a lot to ponder in the meanwhile.
