The Ally 400 is under a weather delay for rain and lightning at Nashville Superspeedway. With rainfall more than expected, it’s going to be lengthy. Don’t worry, NASCAR will work hard to get the track dried and get back to racing.

With the race not quite reaching halfway, we are going to see more racing tonight. Besides, the weather has moved through quickly, albeit heavily, and now there is a window to dry the track. This Ally 400 is far from over.

Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports does not believe the drying process will take more than an hour at most. Nashville Superspeedway is concrete and the temperatures this weekend have been hot.

That will help NASCAR get the track prepared for racing to resume. If Pockrass is right, we could go racing before 7:00 PM EST. There are lights at Nashville Superspeedway.

This is a developing story…
