New Liverpool manager Arne Slott has been spotted on Merseyside ahead of the official start of his job on June 1.
Slott was announced as Liverpool’s new manager on Monday, less than 24 hours after taking charge of Jurgen Klopp’s final game on Sunday.
On the same day, Sloto’s Feyenoord also played at home, saying goodbye to the Dutch coach who takes over at Anfield.
And just four days after the 45-year-old’s last match in Holland, he was on Merseyside to familiarize himself with his new home.
On Thursday, Slott was seen at the two-Michelin-star restaurant Moor Hall near Ormskirk, where he was photographed with chef Mark Birchall.

The restaurant is a short drive from where Slott is expected to live, Formby.
The slot has also been spotted at other locations in Liverpool, with Hat, Scarf or a Badge’s Michael Deane reporting that it was seen coming out of the players’ entrance at Anfield on Thursday night.
Writing on Xsaid: “I was walking to an event at Hotel Anfield tonight when we saw a Range Rover pull up to the players’ entrance at Anfield, it was just Arne Slott.
“I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough, but I give him a thumbs up,” he replied with a big smile and a thumbs up. He looked happy.”
While Slott doesn’t officially starting his new job by June 1, he will no doubt want to settle quickly on Merseyside to ensure a good pre-season.

The Dutchman’s coaching staff is yet to be confirmed, but Sipke Hulshoff is expected to be assistant and head of performance to Ruben Peeters and Feyenoord’s Etienne Reijnen as technical adviser.
The move comes as Klopp departs Anfield after 491 games in charge, along with coaches Pepijn Lijnders, Peter Krawietz, Vitor Matos, John Achterberg and Jack Robinson and fitness staff Andreas Kornmayer and Andreas Schlumberger.
The slot is clearly keen to get started and has already moved the start of the pre-season to the first week of July, according to Telegraphis Chris Bascombe.
Although he remains with a strong squad, the new boss has plenty of work to do ahead of the season which starts on August 17.
