Three players from Austin FC will take part in international matches during the June FIFA window, before the Copa América and UEFA EURO 2024 begin.
New signing Osman Bukari will represent Ghana, while centre-backs Julio Cascante and Leo Väisänen will join Costa Rica and Finland respectively.
Bukari has previously featured for the Black Stars at both the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, with three goals and two assists in 17 career appearances. Cascante has six previous international caps for Costa Rica and scored his first career international goal on 12 September 2023 against the United Arab Emirates. Väisänen has played 26 matches for Finland to date, including seven UEFA Nations League matches, six FIFA World Cup qualifiers and one match at UEFA EURO 2020.
