HARRISONBURG, Va. – Immediately following the 2024 NFL Draft, James Madison wide receiver Reggie Brown and defensive lineman Jamree Kromah agreed to contracts as undrafted free agents, as Brown signed with the Kansas City Chiefs while Kromah signed with the Chicago Bears.
 
Brown, a 1,000-yard receiver last season for the Dukes, was an Honorable Mention All-American from College Football Network and First Team All-Sun Belt Conference wide receiver. He recorded 53 receptions for 1,054 receiving yards with a team-leading nine receiving touchdowns.
 
He set a JMU single-game record with 202 receiving yards versus UConn, finishing the season with four 100-yard games. He ranked ninth nationally and second in the SBC with 19.89 yards per catch. In 45 career games, he tallied 93 receptions for 1,686 yards and 16 touchdowns.
 
Kromah, who was selected to the 99th annual East-West Shrine Bowl, was a HERO Sports Group of Five First Team All-American and First Team All-Sun Belt defensive lineman. In 13 starts this past season, he tallied 60 tackles to go with 20.5 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
 
Playing both on the interior and on the edge, Kromah ranked tied for second in the FCS with a Sun Belt-leading 20.5 TFL. His 11.0 sacks also ranked eighth nationally and third in the conference. Kromah had a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks at Georgia State while also registering 3.0 TFL and a pair of sacks at Virginia. Kromah had 1.5 TFL or more in seven games and produced at least a full sack in the same number of contests.

To date, five former JMU stars are currently on active NFL rosters.
