Here’s a new look at a thrilling game at Craven Cottage where Manchester City really showed what they’re made of, sweeping Fulham with a convincing 4-0 win. What a spectacle it was!
The game started with all eyes on City as they needed a win to leapfrog Arsenal at the top of the table. From the start, City were in the driver’s seat. Josko Guardiol, our summer signing who has been on fire lately, broke through the Fulham defense early on. After a brilliant one-two with Kevin De Bruyne, Guardiol found the back of the net in the 13th minute, setting the tempo for the match.
Despite their dominance, City only added to their tally in the second half. Phil Foden, man, what form he is in! He scored his 25th of the season in the 59th minute. The crowd, including celebrity fan Noel Gallagher, went wild!
The drama didn’t stop there. Guardiol doubled his lead, grabbing his second of the match, and Julian Alvarez sealed the deal with a penalty in the dying seconds. What an ending!
Now, with City two points clear and Liverpool out of the race, it’s safe to say the title is Manchester’s to lose. With just a few more games to go, the pressure is building, but so is the excitement.
