Columbus, Ohio, will host the 2024 MLS All-Star Game, the league announced Wednesday. Here’s what you need to know:

  • This will be the third time the All-Star game has been played in Columbus after the city hosted the 2000 and 2005 games at Historic Crew Stadium.
  • It is the first All-Star Game at Lower.com Field, which opened in July 2021.
  • The 2023 All-Star Game is scheduled for July 19 and will be played at Audi Field in Washington, DC

What are they saying?

“We are pleased to award the 2024 All-Star Game to Columbus, the third All-Star Game for this formidable football city.” MLS Commissioner Don Garber said in a statement. “In just over three years, the Haslams and their partners have built one of the best football stadiums in the world, revitalized the club and expanded the Crew’s fan base. Columbus and Lower.com Field will be an incredible host for the MLS All-Star Game and festivities.”
