The agent of Bologna star Dan Ndoye has confirmed that Manchester United are among a number of English clubs pursuing his client.

Ndoye started all five matches for Switzerland in Euro 2024, including their quarter-final exit at the hands of England.

He scored his first international goal during the group stages against tournament hosts Germany and also provided an assist for Breel Embolo’s opener against Gareth Southgate’s men.

Ndoye was one of Switzerland’s outstanding performers as he showed why he’s in high demand this summer.

A report covered by The Peoples Person last month relayed that United had enquired about the possibility of signing Ndoye.

It was subsequently revealed that the Red Devils had lodged a formal bid to Bologna for their winger, who managed one goal and as many assists in 32 top-flight appearances in the 2023/24 season as the Rossoblu secured Champions League football after a 50-year absence.

Ndoye previously played for Lausanne Sports and OGC Nice – both clubs are owned by Sir Jim Ratclifee’s INEOS firm.

The star’s agent said (via The Sun), “It is good that Manchester United are interested in Dan, and it is somehow logical as well.”

“United belong to Ineos, and Dan has already played for the other Ineos-owned clubs in Nice and Lausanne.”

“He received countless WhatsApp messages from English clubs after the quarter-final against England.”

He added, “Let’s see what emerges from them.”We must discuss Dan’s future with him and his family. We need to weigh things up well, to prevent him making the wrong career move.”

The Sun note that United are in “pole position” to land Ndoye, who is valued at £21million.
