Manchester United ended a disappointing campaign with an outstanding performance in the FA Cup final to secure the club’s 13th success in the prestigious competition.

The 2-1 win against Manchester City sparked wild celebrations in the red half of Manchester, with players and fans enjoying the moment.

However, as reported by The Daily Mail, one member of the squad decided not to attend the match at Wembley, effectively confirming that his future will be away from Old Trafford.

Donny van de Beek was spotted at a music festival in Amsterdam instead of joining his teammates in London.

Despite spending most of the season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, the Dutchman was expected to be present for the occasion.

Van de Beek has made just two appearances for United this year, one in the league and one in the Carabao Cup – both against Crystal Palace.

By the way, it was Palas Van de Beek who scored on his debut for United and it turned out to be the only highlight during his time at the club.

Another goal followed in his total of 62 appearances with the midfielder failing to get up to speed under multiple managers.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed the 27-year-old from Real Madrid right under his nose in 2020, and big things were expected of the talented playmaker.

However, Van de Beek could not get a consistent run in the first team under Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnik or former Ajax coach Erik ten Haag.

Now is surely the time for United to part ways with the Dutchman, who will be desperate to get his career back on track.

Van de Beek was left out of Holland’s provisional squad for the European Championships, citing his fall from fitness in recent years.
