Erling Haaland said he does not regret throwing the ball at Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes after Manchester City’s equalizer in a 2-2 draw last month.

Haaland avoided being accused by the FA after cameras showed him throwing the ball into the back of Gabriel’s head after John Stones’ late goal.

Haaland will lead the Norway national team in their matches against Slovenia and Austria this week, with Martin Odegaard remaining out of the field due to an ankle injury.

When asked whether, as captain, he would condone his behaviour, Haaland said in a press conference: “The moment was intense, and many things happened in that match. The things that happen on the pitch remain the same.” “This is the case.”

He was then asked if he regretted throwing the ball.

“I don’t regret much in life,” Haaland added.

The striker scored the first goal in that match and was later involved in a heated altercation with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and striker Gabriel Jesus after the final whistle.
