It left MP Motorsport’s Franco Colapinto as the driver to profit most, ending up second to Crawford at the chequered flag.

Juan Manuel Correa opted to start the Feature Race on the Hard compound Pirelli tyres, and ran until 10 laps to go before pitting for Softs.

He made great use of that tyre advantage, passing several rivals in the closing laps to rise from eighth in the order up to third, pulling off a bold pass on Aron for the final podium position on Lap 33 of 35.

Aron was left to settle for fourth though maintains his Championship lead over rival Isack Hadjar, who finished one place behind in fifth. Kush Maini ended up sixth despite final lap contact with Invicta Racing teammate Gabriel Bortoleto, who was subsequently handed a five-second time penalty, dropping him to 10th.

The Brazilian’s post-race sanction lifted Zane Maloney, Amaury Cordeel and Josep María Martí up one position each, finishing seventh, eighth and ninth respectively, with Bortoleto P10 in the end.
