Leonardo Fornaroli secured his third Formula 3 pole at the season finale in Monza. The Trident driver put in a 1m 38.287s lap to lead the field and all five of his title rivals.

Alex Dunne topped Group B, but with the fastest overall time going the way of Fornaroli, the Italian will start his second home event of the year from pole, with the MP Motorsport driver alongside in P2.

In Group A, leading title rival Gabriele Minì wound up next-best behind Fornaroli by a quarter of a second, leaving the PREMA Racing and Alpine Academy driver third on the Feature Race grid.

With traffic always an issue around Monza in F3 Qualifying, the 30 cars were split into two groups of 15, with even-numbered cars running on track first. The results of each session aggregated together, as positions alternate back and forth between the groups to fill out the grid.
