Tim Tramnitz earned his first FIA Formula 3 race victory in the Monza Sprint Race. The MP Motorsport driver converted reverse grid pole into his first win of his rookie season at the penultimate race of the year.

On the same morning that F3 revealed their 2025 car, Tramnitz defended from Campos Racing’s Sebastian Montoya on the long run to Turn 1 at the start and was able to keep the Campos Racing driver behind. From there, he controlled two Safety Car restarts to earn his fourth podium visit of the campaign.

Montoya then fought with Trident’s Santiago Ramos from the mid-point of the Sprint onwards, and came out on top in their fight to earn P2 ahead of the Mexican in third, who rounded out the podium in third.

In the title battle, Leonardo Fornaroli retained his place at the top of the standings, but there are now just five points separating the top three in the championship after the Italian finished ninth.
