Galatasaray have approached Manchester United to secure the services of Casemiro, as per reports in Turkey.
The United midfielder has found himself under heavy fire following a disastrous performance against Liverpool over the weekend.
The 32-year-old’s lack of technical ability and awareness played a direct part in two of Liverpool’s three goals at Old Trafford. Just after the half-hour mark, Casemiro played a careless pass, handing the visitors an easy opportunity to cut open United’s backline to open the scoring.
Minutes later, he was comfortably shrugged off by Luis Diaz, who combined with Mo Salah to double Liverpool’s lead before half-time.
Erik ten Hag had seen enough, deciding to replace the veteran midfielder with 20-year-old Toby Collyer for the second-half. It will be interesting to see how he deals with Casemiro for the remainder of the season.
Since the transfer window in major European leagues, as well as in Saudi Arabia is over, many believe Ten Hag has no choice but to find room for the club’s highest-paid player in his plans, at least until the January transfer window.
However, it appears Galatasaray could offer the Red Devils a very swift solution concerning the ex-Real Madrid man’s tricky situation in Manchester.
The transfer window in Turkey remains open until September 18. Earlier this morning, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Casemiro’s possible move to Turkey in the coming weeks “can’t be ruled out.”
Late on Tuesday, Turkish journalist Ali Naci Küçük claimed Galatasaray have made a move for the five-time Champions League-winning star.

He reports that the Istanbul based outfit are in talks with the Premier League giants over a season-long loan deal for Casemiro.
Having already underlined their ambition by signing Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray have shown they are capable of pulling off high-profile signings.
United have been open to listening to suitable offers for Casemiro all summer. However, it remains unclear if they would be prepared to sanction a temporary exit for the Brazil international.
