The St. Louis Battlehawks will host the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL conference championship game, the second semifinal game of the United Football League playoffs.
The Battlehawks are led by former University of Alabama star QB A.J. McCarron. McCarron started the 2023 season for the Battlehawks in the XFL, leading the league in passing touchdowns with 24. He rejoined the Battlehawks for the inaugural UFL season after a backup stint with the Cincinnati Bengals, the team that originally drafted him in the 2014 NFL Draft. McCarron has thrown for 1,582 yards and 15 touchdowns with four interceptions this season.

The Battlehawks and Brahmas finished the season with identical 7-3 records. St. Louis clinched home-field advantage for the conference championship with a 13-12 victory over the Brahmas in the regular season finale on June 1.
The winner will play the USFL champion Birmingham Stallions in the UFL Championship on Sunday, June 16.
