Jadon Sancho’s move from Manchester United to Juventus is in jeopardy as he is just their fourth transfer priority with only six days of the window left.

Sancho has never hit the heights of his time at Borussia Dortmund for United and he was exiled from the squad last season after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

Despite a rapprochement when the player returned to first team training last month, the English winger’s turbulent time in Manchester has continued.

The winger was left out of the club’s matchday squad against Fulham last weekend with Ten Hag citing an ear infection. Nonetheless, reports emerged yesterday that Sancho was deeply unhappy with the decision and has reiterated his desire to leave Old Trafford before the window closes.

He has been linked to a move to FC Barcelona but Juventus seem the most serious option as it was reported yesterday that the club were “in talks with” United and were considering offering £40 million in a loan plus obligation deal.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport have put a bit of a dampener on the move this morning however by claiming he is only one of four priorities the club have in regard to incomings and is the least urgent for the Old Lady.

It is reported that Juve’s first priority is sealing a deal for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

The Turin based side also have Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez and Porto’s Francisco Conceição as primary wing options to strengthen Thaigo Motta’s side’s attack.

The Sancho deal is described as an “opportunity that presents itself on a silver platter” and after failed negotiations between United and Paris Saint-Germain for the England international, “they are back on the attack for the loan.”

Nonetheless, complicatedly for Sancho the paper suggests that “the order of priority is clear: Nico is Motta’s favorite, Conceiçao would start as Yildiz’s reserve, while Sancho could shuffle the cards but would arrive if Federico Chiesa closed an agreement with Barcelona.”

While it is reported that Chiesa’s departure to the Catalan giants does look likely to occur, Sancho is clearly not a major priority as they favour two other attacking players to him.

Perhaps if United were open to a loan plus obligation deal, it might encourage the Italians to change their priorities and wrap up a deal for Sancho if deals for Gonzalez and Conceição become more difficult as the windows enters its final straight.
