With the transfer window slamming shut at the end of the week, Manchester United’s remaining summer business will be clarified in the coming days.
Jadon Sancho’s future remains up for debate with the winger clearly open to leaving Old Trafford before deadline day.
Italian giants Juventus are the frontrunners to poach the Englishman and the Serie A side appear to be making space for the United man in their squad.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Federico Chiesa is set to leave Juve, with Liverpool closing in on the 26-year-old.

Understand Chiesa has given his full availability to join Liverpool after initial talks.
He’s excited about this possibility and contract won’t be an issue.
Juventus want Chiesa to leave and asking price is around €15m.

Should Arne Slot’s side stump up the €15 million fee, it’s expected Chiesa will make the switch to Anfield before Friday’s deadline.
Juve could then make their move for Sancho, who hasn’t featured in Erik ten Hag’s first two match squads of the new season.
Should United sanction the sale of the 24-year-old, it would leave Ten Hag short of depth in wide areas and could result in a late addition to the attacking roles.
Chiesa’s move out of Turin may have led him to Manchester but it looks like the Italian is destined for Merseyside with Romano claiming the deal is on.
Sancho’s United story will go down as one of the most disappointing transfers of the last decade or so, which is some going considering the mess the club have made of the market in recent years.
Since signing for Dortmund for a £73 million fee in 2021, the forward has failed to get going at Old Trafford, mustering only 12 goals over the three seasons.
The public falling out with Ten Hag at the start of last season was the final straw and after spending the second half of the campaign back at Dortmund, he now looks set for the exit door.
INEOS will have their targets should Sancho leave this week but with the signing of Manuel Ugarte confirmed by Romano this morning, replacing the wide man is likely to be the last bit of business for United in this window.
