Jurgen Klopp held his final press conference on Friday, a day that also saw six departures confirmed, plus Arne Slott announcing his imminent arrival.
Slot confirms he will be the next LFC boss
It’s an open secret that Slott will become the next manager at Anfield, but we’re still waiting for official confirmation.
That didn’t stop the Dutchman from making a statement himself when he spoke to reporters ahead of his final match at Feyenoord at the weekend.
“I can confirm that I will become a coach there (at Liverpool) next year,” Slott said on Friday.
Liverpool are likely to introduce Slott shortly after the end of the season, but the current focus is on saying goodbye to their legendary manager.
