Ibrahima Konate and Trent Alexander-Arnold have received major boosts ahead of Euro 2024, while Luis Diaz has discussed his future at Liverpool.
Konate gets recognition for Euro 2024
France certainly enter the Euros as favourites, not least because of the multitude of top centre-backs at their disposal.
Konate is one such figure, and looks set to be given the nod to start for Les Bleus ahead of their opener against Austria next Monday.
According to Parisianthe Liverpool defender will start in front of Arsenal’s William Saliba, and at the back will be his partner Dayot Upamecano from Bayern Munich.
This is a great show of faith from Didier Deschamps, especially as Konate lost his place to Jarell Quansah at the end of the season.
