Kylian Mbappé underwent his Real Madrid medical on Tuesday ahead of his presentation to fans at the Bernabéu.
Mbappé, 25, arrived at the Sanitas clinic in La Moraleja, an exclusive Madrid suburb, just before 9 a.m. Spanish time, posing for cameras and calling his move “a dream.”
He then travelled to the club’s Valdebebas training ground for the formal signing of his new five-year contract with Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
Fans were queueing outside the Bernabéu hours before the presentation was due to start at 12 p.m.
The 85,000-capacity stadium is expected to be full, with tickets — made available for free to club members — having sold out.
Madrid announced last month that Mbappé would join them when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired, ending their long pursuit of the star forward.
The France international will be presented to fans, before taking questions from the media in his first news conference as a Real Madrid player.
During his medical on Tuesday morning, doctors were expected to examine Mbappé’s broken nose, which he suffered in France’s opening game at Euro 2024.
There has been no confirmation as to whether the injury will require further treatment or surgery.
