⚽ Tough Break for United in L.A. Showdown
Yesterday was a rough start to Manchester United’s U.S. tour as they faced off against Arsenal, only to stumble with a 2-1 defeat and pick up a couple of injury worries to boot. It all went down at the shiny SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, buzzing with over 60,000 fans.
Early on, Rasmus Hojlund lit up the scoreboard, taking a brilliant pass from Marcus Rashford and slipping the ball through the keeper’s legs—what a start! But joy turned to concern quickly. Across the field, Arsenal looked in good shape. Despite missing Emile Smith-Rowe, who’s eyeing a move, they played with a certain zip. Riccardo Calafiori’s pending arrival only adds to the buzz around the Gunners.
