Manchester United have reportedly been hit by a major security breach after a YouTube prankster managed to sneak up on the team’s coach following the club’s 4-0 drubbing by Crystal Palace last Monday.

United slumped to a devastating defeat at Selhurst Park on Monday night, but according to The Daily Mail, there were further incidents for the club after the final whistle.

The newspaper reports that there was a massive security breach involving a YouTube prankster, who found his way onto the team bus after being beaten up.

Lizwani is understood to have slyly evaded security and entered the team’s coach.

He was dressed in a full United tracksuit and carried a designer wash bag to help further his deceptive scheme. Somehow he managed to fool security before getting on the bus that was waiting for him.

Reporter Mike Keegan notes: “Mail Sport understands he was quickly spotted by United security guards after he casually took a seat in the vehicle waiting for Erik ten Hag and his team to return to Manchester after the miserable 4-0 drubbing a week ago. ”

“And in what sources described as ‘friendly’ scenes, he was then removed from the vehicle – but not before a significant breach of security was deemed to have occurred.”

Keegan explains that the incident has prompted the Premier League to inform clubs to be on high alert for a repeat of such cases.

After being ejected from the team bus, Lizvani was held by security until the police arrived to speak with him.

Palace are believed to have launched an investigation to determine how the prankster succeeded in his endeavours.

The Eagles are examining CCTV footage to trace the events that eventually led to Lizwani boarding the United coach.

The working theory is that he accessed the area via an exit gate that was opened after the game and then hid before eventually boarding the United bus under false pretenses.

The Mail notes that Lizwani has a track record of breaking into popular events and award ceremonies.

Earlier this year, he lined up behind popular Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy and producer Emma Thomas as the latter accepted the award for Best Picture.

It has also infiltrated other events such as the FIFA Ballon d’Or, the MOBO Awards and the Brit Awards in 2022.
