Manchester United have reportedly lowered their asking price for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as they contemplate a move for Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
The right-back position is an area of the pitch United could address in the event that Wan-Bissaka departs Old Trafford.
The Englishman’s future is uncertain heading into the 2024/25 season amidst links to outfits like Galatasaray, Crystal Palace, AC Milan and West Ham.
United are believed to have a list of players to potentially replace Wan-Bissaka. Some of the players mentioned to be on the Red Devils’ transfer radar include Vanderson (AS Monaco) and Ferdi Kadioglu ( Fenerbahce). A more recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that the club want Mazraoui – a player Erik ten Hag knows very well from their time together at Ajax.
It was stated that West Ham had cooled down their interest in Wan-Bissaka due to United’s £15 million valuation of the player.
There have been other suggestions that United want as much as £20 million for the 26-year-old, who has entered the final 12 months of his deal with the 20-time English champions.
However, in a fresh update issued by journalist Florian Plettenberg, United are now prepared to accept as low as £10 million for Wan-Bissaka.
According to the Sky Germany reporter, West Ham could switch their attention from Mazraoui to Wan-Bissaka if United have indeed reduced their asking price for him.
Plettenberg wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a key for a possible deal with Noussair Mazraoui – for Manchester United and West Ham!”
“Man Utd seriously considering to replace Wan-Bissaka with Mazroaui. Therefore they have lowered their demand for AWB and demand £10m now!”
“West Ham considering to push for Wan-Bissaka if a transfer with Mazraoui should not work out.”

The United squad fly out to Los Angeles on Wednesday for the start of their pre-season tour and if Wan-Bissaka’s future is not sorted out by then, he’s almost certain to be on the plane.
