Manchester United are open to permanent and loan offers for Brazilian winger Antony this summer.

According to sources at Football Insider, United will allow Antony to leave on loan if the bidding club covers his £100,000-a-week wages.

Antony joined United from Ajax in 2022 for £86 million but has struggled with consistency.

Despite showing glimpses of his potential, his overall game has not improved.

Since his arrival, the Brazilian international has struggled to justify his hefty price tag.

He scored just once in 29 Premier League appearances last season—against Burnley in a 1-1 draw in April, marking his first goal contribution in 23 games.

Consequently, Erik ten Hag and the club are looking to offload the winger and build upon the recent signing of £59 million French centre back Leny Yoro.

The signing of the 18-year-old is seen as a significant achievement for United, who managed to secure his services over Champions League winners Real Madrid.

This addition highlights the club’s ongoing efforts to strengthen their squad, especially after the recent INEOS takeover.

Antony’s departure would free up funds for United to continue their transfer momentum.

United are in the process of rebuilding following a disappointing Premier League season that saw them finish 8th.

The potential sale or loan of Antony could be a crucial step in this process, enabling the club to continue their strategic rebuild under Ten Hag’s leadership.
