Manchester United are in pole position to secure a deal for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

According to an exclusive report from Jacque Talbot (FootballTransfers), the Red Devils are set to beat Newcastle United to the signing of Olise.

The 22-year-old has been in exceptional form this season, particularly shining in the second half with seven goals in his last six games. This surge in performance has put him firmly on the radar of the Premier League’s top clubs.

The report reveals that Olise, who reportedly grew up a Man United fan, is keen on a move to Old Trafford. His departure from Palace seems imminent, with a release clause of around €70m included in the contract he signed last year.

United’s interest in Olise is said to be part of a wider strategy to improve their right-back following underwhelming displays from current options such as Antony.

The club is focused on bringing in young players with high potential who can produce immediate results while contributing to the long-term development of the team.

Olise fits this profile perfectly. At the age of 22, he already has considerable experience in the Premier League and has shown the ability to make a decisive impact on matches.

His addition would bring skill and creativity to United’s attack and a youthful energy that is in line with the club’s vision under their new ownership under INEOS.

Newcastle have put Olise at the top of their summer wishlist, recognizing his potential to strengthen their attacking options.

However, their hopes appear to have been dashed by Olise’s preference for a move to Old Trafford.
