Fans can watch the game in English or Spanish in over 100 countries on the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Last time out, Austin FC fell 2-0 to Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night away at Children’s Mercy Park.

The Verde & Black now turn their attention to their first home game of the month against New York City FC this weekend. This will be the first time the two have faced each other in official MLS regular season action, but Austin will be hoping the matchup continues two promising trends. ATXFC has a 9-5-2 all-time record against Eastern Conference teams and a 5-3-2 record at home this season. The raucous atmosphere of the Q2 Stadium will provide the team with a critical boost after a long absence last month.

Austin will be looking to get back to winning ways and capitalize on that home atmosphere as they look towards a total of five home games, including the League Cup this month.

The New York City Football Club is currently sitting at 5thth place in the Eastern Conference, with a 10-2-8 record. Unlike Austin, NYCFC had a midweek game to navigate, defeating CF Montreal 2-0. Last weekend, four different players scored as the Boys In Blue won 4-2 against an Orlando side missing several key players due to the Copa America.

NYCFC was arguably the hottest team in the league all spring, winning 8 of 9 games from April 13th to May 31st. However, they hit a bit of a rough patch lately, losing three in a row – including the last two games on the road – before bouncing back against OCSC.

Designated player Santiago Rodríguez has been one of the league’s best offensive forces this season, leading the way for New York with eight goals and seven assists. Keeping Rodríguez quiet will be a key part of the game plan for the Verde & Black.
