AUSTIN, Texas — On Wednesday, MLS Commissioner Don Garber announced that the MLS All-Star Game will be played in Austin in 2025.

The game will be played at Austin FC’s Q2 Stadium.

The announcement was officially made during a special event at Antone’s Nightclub in Downtown Austin.

Austin will organize concerts, fan events and soccer competitions all week, building up to the All-Star game.

Commissioner Garber said, “We’ve been so proud to have Austin FC as the first major professional sports team of this city. You’ve done it in true Austin style, by building a club and culture that resonates across the community.”

The game’s date and opponent are still unknown, but the specifics will be announced at a later time.
