NASCAR Xfinity Series crew member suspended for axle infraction at New Hampshire

Dennis Powell, a crew member who works in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, has been suspended “from the next Championship Series event through and including Nashville Superspeedway,” according to Claire B. Lang. He is suspended for an axle infraction during the race at New Hampshire.

Powell works on the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports car. The infraction states there was a violation of Sections 10.5.2.5.G: Loss or separation of an improperly installed rear axle from the vehicle. Leland Honeyman drove the No. 42 car this past weekend and wrecked in the Xfinity Series race.
