New England Revolution hosts New York City FC this Saturday afternoon. This should be an interesting one, even though the Revs sit at the bottom of the standings, while FC chances the top spot in the conference.

Before Betting on New England Revolution vs. New York City FC

The Revs have the worst defense in the Eastern Conference, allowing 25 goals in 12 appearances. They are currently stuck at the bottom of the standings, though, with two fewer games than most competitors. That, along with the fact that this unit has a weak attack, resulted in just nine goals scored.

New England played in the CONCACAF Champions League but suffered hard losses to Club America in their matchup, 2-9 on aggreggate. Overall, the Revs have only two wins in the past ten events, with seven losses besides that.

On the other side is NYCFC, which is third in the East. Their form has been on the rise since the start of April, and following a shaky start, they have had excellent results. Right now, the Citizens have posted three straight wins and have had six triumphs over the previous seven events.

NYC netted at least twice in all but one event during this span, and all but one game saw moderate efficiency, meaning two or three goals.

The two sides already met in April this year, and NYC routinely won at home, 2-0. Ojeda and Perea scored here.

The Revs have problems all over the place, with their defense being the biggest problem of all. Our pick here is to bet that the guests won’t lose, which is a double chance, draw or NYC. For those who are courageous, take NYC over 1.5 goals.
