Osman Bukari makes his MLS debut with Austin FC’s draw

Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari made his debut for Austin FC in the 2-2 draw against Charlotte FC on Saturday.

The former Red Star Belgrade played 57 minutes in the Major League Soccer game.

Bukari, who joined Austin FC as a designated player this summer, has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The speedy winger brings a wealth of experience from his time in Europe, where he excelled at Red Star Belgrade.

Known for his pace and creativity, Bukari was a key player for Red Star, helping them win back-to-back Serbian league and cup titles.

He also impressed in the Champions League, scoring against Manchester City and providing important assists.

The Ghanaian international has represented his country at the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations, showcasing his talent on the global stage.

Austin FC currently sit in 10th position in the MLS standings and will be hoping that Bukari can help them climb the table.
