Former Red Star Belgrade winger Osman Bukari has vowed to give his all to help Austin FC after completing his move to the Major League Soccer (MLS) side.
Bukari, 25, signed a contract with the Texas-based club that runs through 2027, with an option to extend it by an additional year through 2028. His status as a designated player positions him among of the biggest earners at the club.
Bukari took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his excitement, replying to a post announcing his arrival with the words, “Happy to be here.”
In an interview with Austin FC media after signing his three-year contract, Bukari stated: “I am very motivated and excited to join Austin FC. I want to do everything I can to help this team, this city and this fan base achieve their goals.”

Bukari brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality from his time with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.
During his two seasons with the club, he played a key role in securing numerous titles, including back-to-back Serbian Cup and League titles.
In addition, he competed in the UEFA Champions League, showcasing his skills on one of the biggest stages in European football. In the 2023/24 season, Bukari recorded seven goals and five assists in 24 league games, following an even more impressive season last year.

His stellar performances have not gone unnoticed on the international stage. Bukari has become an integral player for the Ghana national team, playing in the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), along with various qualifiers and friendlies.
Bukari is currently with the Ghana squad that will face Mali on June 6 and Central African Republic (CAR) on June 10 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
