Ghana international Osman Bukari is close to a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC in the upcoming transfer window.

Bukari will join the American club from Serbian team Red Star Belgrade.

Austin FC will reportedly pay €7 million for the 25-year-old.

The winger joined Red Star Belgrade from Gent after being on loan at FC Nantes.

Since moving to Serbia, Bukari has made 77 appearances in all competitions, scoring 25 goals and setting up another 20.

In addition to his individual performances, the Ghanaian won two consecutive league titles with the club. He also contributed to two domestic cup titles.

Bukari has been a regular name in the Black Stars squad since he made his debut in March 2021.

He was part of the country’s squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, scoring against Portugal.

His imminent move will see him become the latest Black Star to move to MLS after Joseph Paintsil joined LA Galaxy.
