Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has agreed to a multi-year endorsement contract extension with Reebok, including the release of a signature shoe in 2026, the company told ESPN on Thursday.
Reyes, the No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, becomes one of six active WNBA players with a signature shoe deal, joining New York’s Brianna Stewart (Puma), Sabrina Ionescu (Nike), and Las Vegas’ Aja Wilson (Nike). ), Sydney Coulson (Creative Control) and Indiana’s Caitlin Clark (Nike).
“Reebok and Angel are growing together every day and our vision for the future aligns,” Jed Osifeso, Reebok’s president of basketball, told ESPN. “We are excited to continue the relationship through the overall build-out of its signature silhouette.”
In her rookie season with the Sky, Reese averaged a WNBA record 13.1 rebounds while scoring 13.6 points per game and compiled a rookie record 26 double-doubles, including 15 in a row – the longest streak in WNBA history.
Reese also became the first player in WNBA history to grab 20 or more rebounds in three straight games, and her streak of 28 games with double-digit rebounds is the longest in WNBA history.
She finished second to Clark in WNBA Rookie of the Year voting.
Last week, Reese, who made $73,439 during her rookie season with the Sky, said on Instagram Live that “the WNBA doesn’t pay my bills at all” and revealed that her rent is $96,000 a year.
In addition to Reebok, Reese also has endorsement deals with Good American, Tampax, beauty brand Mielle, and Beats by Dr. Dre, and Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces Candy. She also sells branded merchandise on her website and started a podcast in September called “Unapologetically Angel.”
