The Sacramento Kings are trading forward Jalen McDaniels, a second-round pick and cash considerations to the San Antonio Spurs, sources told ESPN on Monday.

The Spurs will waive McDaniels, sources said, while Sacramento now has roster flexibility for a potential move down the line.

The Kings acquired McDaniels from the Toronto Raptors in June in exchange for Davion Mitchell, Sasha Vezenkov and a 2025 second-round pick via Portland.

McDaniels, 26, has averaged 6.9 points and 3.3 rebounds over his five NBA seasons. He averaged 10.1 minutes and 3.4 points in 50 games for the Raptors last season.
