Anfield is undergoing a transformation as Liverpool prepare for three sold-out Taylor Swift shows.
An estimated 150,000 Swift fans, known as Swifties, are flocking to Liverpool as the world famous pop star prepares for her three nights at Anfield.
It was considered a major coup for the city and the club that she chose Merseyside as the venue for her Eras tour, which took her around the world.
The only other locations he plays in the UK are London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Given that the shows are taking place on June 13, 14 and 15, crowds of fans are already outside the stadium, waiting for hours in lines to buy merchandise ahead of the concerts.
In fact, her first dates in Liverpool will be the 100th performance of the Eras Tour, prompting excitement over the possibility of a special guest or event to mark the occasion.
Even those who won’t make it to one of the sold-out shows are having a good time.
Liverpool City Council has created the Taylor Town Trail which includes 11 art installations themed around its different ‘eras’. They refer to the different albums she has released during her career so far.

As captured by Mr Drone UK, Anfield will look completely different on show nights, with the stage, lighting and sound on track to be ready for Swift’s arrival.
Major roads will be closed for local residents and those traveling to Anfield.
From 12pm (BST) until 12pm on 13, 14 and 15 June, Walton Breck Road which runs behind the Kop will be closed. Anfield Road also remains closed due to the extension of the Anfield Road End.
Jurgen Klopp is among those expected to attend.
The German’s wife, Ulla, bought tickets to see one of the shows, he revealed during a staff Q&A in his final week at the club, also revealing that he then started singing ‘Shake It Off’ to her, according to the Athletic.
It remains to be seen which show Klopp will attend, but if he wants to see Germany at the start of Euro 2024, it won’t be the show on June 14.
