The transfer of Osman Bukar to Austin FC worth 7 million dollars – reveals the American broadcaster (VIDEO) – Citi Sports Online

The financial details of the deal to transfer Black Stars winger Osman Bukari from Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC remain officially undisclosed.

However, according to US-based broadcaster for Portland Timbers Radio – another MLS side – Adam Susman, the deal is worth seven million dollars.

The deal that was announced at the end of May saw the former FC Nantes player join Austin on a three-and-a-half-year deal with an option to extend by one year. (Click the highlighted text to read the full story)

Speaking of his The Evergreen PodcastSusman added that Red Star Belgrade was offered a $10 million deal for Bukar by MLS side Chicago Fire six months ago.

Susman described Bukar’s signing with Austin as a “THRILLING“adding that”players like that make the league more fun… Excited to see Bukar play for Austin.

Bukari won the Serbian League and Cup double in successive seasons during his time at Red Star Belgrade and competed for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFCON.

He is in the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic on June 6 and June 10 respectively.
