Newcastle United are reportedly keen to secure the signings of Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly.

The duo have previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Howe and his team are currently in Australia for exhibition matches against Tottenham and the A-League All Stars.

Meanwhile, Newcastle’s recruitment team are actively working on potential signings ahead of the re-opening of the transfer window.

Senior officials at the club have already held detailed talks about Adarabioyo and Kelly, who will both be free agents next month as their contracts at Fulham and Bournemouth expire.

Adarabioyo has reportedly decided not to renew his contract with Fulham.

According to Scott Wilson, (The Northern Echo) despite interest from Manchester United, the 26-year-old centre-back is understood to favor a move to Newcastle.

Kelly, on the other hand, will be leaving Bournemouth, where he was originally brought by Howe during his tenure at the club.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola hinted at Kelly’s departure, saying: “I think he will probably play somewhere else.”

Newcastle are confident of securing both players.

Howe noted that the club has been planning the summer transfer window since the beginning of this year. “My thoughts on the transfer window are probably January to February. As soon as one window closes, you’re planning for the next one,” Howe explained.

United’s recruitment team will need to act quickly and decisively to secure their targets, ensuring they don’t miss out on another of their key signings.
