Tottenham Hotspur beat Vissel Kobe in their preseason friendly on Saturday, coming from behind to emerge as 3-2 victors in Tokyo with 16-year-old Mikey Moore grabbing the deciding goal.

Vissel Kobe took the lead in the ninth minute through Yuya Osako after Pape Matar Sarr gave the ball away cheaply. Pedro Porro responded quickly for Spurs, levelling the game in the 16th minute with a typically well-struck shot from outside the box.

Son Heung-Min then put Spurs ahead shortly after half-time after Brennan Johnson’s excellent driven cross, though the hosts responded well with Jean Patric’s shot bouncing off Emerson Royal and into the Spurs net.

Moore replaced Johnson in the 60th minute and added to his collection of impressive performances this preseason, tapping in from close range after fellow prospect Jamie Donley’s dangerous ball across the face of goal.

Spurs play a Team K-League select XI on Wednesday in Seoul, before facing Bayern Munich at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Aug.3.
