Ederson says no decision has been made about his Manchester City future amid interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The Brazil international is understood to have been keen on a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer, but Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have pulled out of the race and there has been no recent progress with Al Ittihad.
City boss Pep Guardiola has previously said Ederson, 30, “has to decide” what he wants to do with his future, but has made it clear how much he wants him to stay at the club, adding on Friday, “I wish from the bottom of my heart that Eddie stays with us.”
Speaking after City’s 3-2 defeat by AC Milan in New York on Saturday, the goalkeeper welcomed those comments and said he is happy at the club, but that his future remains up in the air.
