TOP STORY: Lukaku and Osimhen to trade places?
Napoli and Chelsea are in talks over a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen, according to the Athletic.
It is reported that Napoli are keen to secure a permanent deal for Lukaku, with Chelsea ready to offload the Belgium international after a series of loan stints in Italy. A move to Napoli would see Lukaku work under new Gli Azzurri boss Antonio Conte again. The forward enjoyed a fruitful spell under the Italian previously when he spent time on loan at Internazionale.
However, regarding Osimhen, it looks likely that any proposed move to Chelsea would be a loan, with the option to make the move permanent at a later date. The Nigeria star has been linked with a move away from Naples and was recently left out of their squad for a friendly.
Alongside Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with Osimhen. Meanwhile, Football Insider have reported that Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
