The feud between Sean Strickland and Belal Muhammad is nothing new and, since 2023, it has increased manifolds. They frequently spewed insults at each other, and their fight took a new turn when Belal Muhammad showed his support for Palestine. Strickland did not appreciate Muhammad’s stance and took to his social media to slam the fighter by labeling it as a “coward response”. Meanwhile, the latest controversy between the two MMA stars erupted recently as Nina-Marie Daniele, a famous interviewer known for conducting interviews with UFC fighters, played a prank on Muhammad regarding his upcoming UFC 304 bout.
Strickland again saw this as an opportunity to take a harsh jibe at the 35-year-old and left a comment under Daniele’s while fetched an extreme reaction from Muhammad as well. Meanwhile, the Palestinian star might have started another feud as he called the American fighter “dumb” in his recent interview.

In episode 17 of the ‘Money Loyalty Legacy’ podcast, a 23-3-0 welterweight fighter talked about the reputation of UFC and how the promotion looked in front of other sports industries. The hosts asked Belal Muhammad about his career and his prestigious position in the industry and how he only concentrates on work rather than wild antics like some other fighters. ‘Remember The Name’ clearly explained that he would rather be appreciated by his close ones than speak of unnecessary things in the media.
Then he went on to take a jibe at Strickland and said that Strickland said “dumb” things on the internet which made Dana White and co look bad. He claimed, “But it makes the sport look dumb in general if we are a sport that is trying to be like the NBA or NFL or MLB, we got to hold ourselves to higher standards.”

Belal Muhammad claps back at Strickland
When the prank was played by the interviewer, Strickland chimed in to insult Muhammad. The whole thing started when Daniele commented on Muhammad’s live Instagram video asking, “Belal, are you going to the Sugondese fight card?” The fighter was confused and the host finally revealed what it meant by saying, “S*ck on deez n*ts, Belal.” The humorous interaction between the two left many in splits but Strickland took this as a chance to demean the 35-year-old.
Questioned the former’s integrity, he commented on Daniele’s post, “If you told [Belal] that in person, he would put his head down and walk away… then try to fight you on Twitter, lol.” The welterweight fighter was not silent and fired back with a comment on how Strickland could only jab and play defense for 25 minutes and also talked about how he might harm innocent children.

“If Sean tells you he’s gonna fight you to the death, it means he’s gonna jab you and play defense for 25 minutes. If Sean sees a harmless kid or a homeless man on his ring camera, he’s gonna walk outside with a gun and record it to make it seem like he’s crazy. If Sean goes on a podcast, it means he’s probably gonna cry,” Muhammad’s reply read.
