Welcome to our UFL Week 10 – Players of the Week – “Fan’s Choice” results. Voting began immediately at the completion of the final game on Sunday. We gathered over 1250 votes before the closing of polls at 5:00PM Eastern on Tuesday June 4, 2024. We thank all who voted!
Fans were asked to nominate any player they deemed worthy of the honor, in three categories: Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams. Winners below are based on the number of votes received for each player.
UFL Offensive Player of the Week:
#12 Luis Perez, Quarterback Arlington Renegades
Luis Perez secured a win for the Arlington Renegades in gritty fashion, completing 23 passes on 37 attempts for 215 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.
The fans said:
- Was a hero for the Renegades all season, making good on the final game by generating a win over D.C. (Pauly )
- Threw for three touchdowns to give Arlington the win. (Anonymous)
- Statistically best QB all season and an all-time great spring football player. (Isaac B.)
Honorable Mention
Tyler Vaughns, Wide Receiver, Arlington Renegades
- Tyler Vaughns with 5 receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns in the Arlington win. (Buck Topher)
- Perez not the only star. Vaughns was amazing against DC with two touchdowns. (Anonymous)
UFL Defensive Player of the Week:
#51 Willie Harvey, Linebacker, St. Louis Battlehawks
St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Willie Harvey was key to the Battlehawks win, pressuring Brahmas quarterbacks with a sack. Harvey also had 10 tackles (6 solo) and two tackles for loss on the game.
The fans said:
- I love how Willie Harvey kept the pressure on the Brahmas. (Keelie)
- Ten total tackles and one sack in their 13-12 win over San Antonio. (Anonymous)
- Helped the Battlehawks in the win over San Antonio and the battle to get home field in the playoffs. (J. Daniels)
Honorable Mention
Markel Roby, Safety, Houston Roughnecks
- Five tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup for the Roughnecks. (Anonymous)
- Had a pick-6 interception which was taken away because of a penalty. Kept the Showboats off the scoreboard in a close game against the Roughnecks. (Anonymous)
UFL Special Teams Player of the Week:
#12 Chris Rowland, Kick Returner, D.C. Defenders
Kick returner Chris Rowland was stellar with 316 all-purpose yards in the Defenders game against the Renegades, but nothing matched his 84-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The fans said:
- Rowland made his name know to NFL scouts. (Anonymous)
- After many amazing returns Chris Rowland finally returned one for a touchdown. (Reena)
- Rowland has been amazing all season and deserving of an award. With the kick return TD he should be guaranteed the accolade this week. (Marcus)
