USC will officially be hosting their 2024 Pro Day on Wednesday, March 20th, the school announced Thursday.
The Pro Day will give NFL scouts and teams the opportunity to take a look at the Trojans headed for the 2024 NFL draft, or those who may become undrafted free agents. This day is especially significant for players who were not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, but want the opportunity to be viewed by NFL scouts.
USC’s Pro Day will likely feature all eight of their players who were invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, including quarterback Caleb Williams, running back MarShawn Lloyd, wide receivers Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice, offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston, defensive lineman Solomon Byrd, safety Calen Bullock and cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace.
Expect the Trojans’ Pro Day to be one of the more popular ones for NFL scouts and front office staff thanks to Williams. As a quarterback projected to go with one of the first picks off the board — if not No. 1 overall — Williams will naturally attract a lot of attention.
This attention should also be favorable to other USC players who may not have been invited to the combine or are not high up on draft boards. With extra scouts likely present for Williams, it could give them better odds at getting noticed or making an impression.
USC’s Pro Day is also a notable date as it takes place just the day after their football team begins spring practices. It’s also 36 days before the 2024 NFL draft begins on April 25.
