Wet Start Shuffles the Order
A surprise downpour just before lights out threw a wrench into qualifying strategies. George Russell, starting on pole, capitalized on the slick conditions, holding off a determined Max Verstappen in the early stages. However, the race’s complexion changed dramatically on Lap 21. Safety Cars and Strategy Battles
The race’s flow was disrupted by two Safety Car periods. The first came after Logan Sargeant found the wall, forcing a flurry of pit stops. Verstappen used this opportunity brilliantly, jumping ahead of Norris to reclaim the lead. The second Safety Car, caused by a collision between Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, added another layer of drama to the closing laps.
